SVAN Leadership Council

The Saratoga Vital Aging Network was established in 2007 by a group of individuals who saw the need to connect with other older adults in the community to be the resource to advocate for public policy, education, housing options, employment practices, wellness and culture in order to enhance the aging process and influence public attitudes about the needs of older adults. This group of volunteers formed a Leadership Council with the support of the Saratoga Institute to create the Saratoga Vital Aging Network.

The Leadership Council is responsible for providing programs, outreach, communication and partnering within Saratoga County  to promote self-determination, civic engagement, and personal growth for people as they age through education and advocacy.
