What is SVAN?
SVAN stands for Saratoga Vital Aging Network. The Saratoga Vital Aging Network (SVAN) is a new organization operating under the auspices of the Saratoga Institute. It is located in Saratoga Springs, New York. Its members are people fifty-five years old and older, living in the community, who are entering or living in the third phase of life.
SVAN's purpose is to promote self-determination, civic engagement and personal growth for people as they age, through education and advocacy.
